Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Rogue tribal tempo strategy commanded by Anowon, the Ruin Thief. The game plan opens by deploying cheap, evasive Rogues during the first three turns. Once Anowon enters on Turn 4, every combat connection mills opposing libraries and converts milled creature cards into steady card advantage. The deck leverages this flow to deploy potent tribal anthems such as Stinkdrinker Bandit and Obelisk of Urd, or to cast a game-warping Notorious Throng for its prowl cost. Opposing graveyards also become secondary resource hubs through cards like Zareth San, the Trickster and Drown in the Loch. While vulnerable to mass creature sweepers, the deck maintains resilience through mass reanimation spells like Patriarch's Bidding. It closes games by overrunning opponents through wide, unblockable combat damage.
