Krothus by user2525414

Format: Commander

Commander: Runo Stromkirk // Krothuss, Lord of the Deep

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Runo/Krothuss is a staged sea-creature reanimator deck. The Runo front face is the setup: its enters ability puts a 6-plus creature from your graveyard on top of your library, and the upkeep reveal flips it into Krothuss. The back face is the engine the build is committed to: Krothuss attacks and creates copies of another attacker, and for a Kraken, Leviathan, Octopus, or Serpent it copies twice. Secondary paths are generic reanimation beating, plus a token avalanche from Spawning Kraken and the one-shot Summon: Primal Odin. There is no true hidden commander; Gyruda is a big reanimation and mill target, not a legal companion for this list.
