Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The deck is a Grixis Villain toolbox built around Doctor Doom, King of Latveria's repeatable connive trigger. Each combat it loots a Villain; discarding lands drains all opponents, while discarded nonlands feed mayhem recursion, cast-from-exile payoffs, and connive-generation engines. The commander is the primary discard outlet and life-loss engine; the 4BB Doctor Doom in the 99 acts as a hidden backup commander, providing Doombot tokens and card advantage. Secondary paths go wide with Villain tokens and Squadron Sinister, leverage Glorious Purpose into free spells, or use Bolas's Citadel as a late-game engine and finisher.
