Format: Commander

Commander: The Scarab God

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Scarab God leads a dedicated Dimir Zombie tribal strategy combining aristocrats drain, resilient graveyard recursion, and explosive combo finishes. In the early to mid-game, the deck swarms the board with low-cost Zombies, fills the graveyard through incidental mill, and generates massive card advantage using draw engines like Undead Augur. The commander provides persistent pressure by draining opponents on upkeep and reanimating key creatures from any graveyard as 4/4 Zombies. The primary path to victory executes infinite sacrifice loops using Gravecrawler paired with Ashnod's Altar or Rooftop Storm alongside Diregraf Captain or Vengeful Dead, while mass reanimation and Gray Merchant of Asphodel provide lethal backup.
