Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive, political midrange deck built around Breena, the Demagogue. The game plan opens by deploying cheap, evasive 1-drop and 2-drop creatures like Healer's Hawk, Segovian Angel, and Ruin-Lurker Bat. On Turn 3, casting Breena immediately turns these attackers into reliable card engines and rapidly scaling beaters by triggering +1/+1 counters and card draw on combat. The deck uses political incentives and combat taxes like Ghostly Prison, Windborn Muse, and Nils, Discipline Enforcer to encourage opponents to attack one another while keeping incoming damage low. Once Breena and complementary threats like Shrike Force or Felisa, Fang of Silverquill grow large, the deck closes games through flying combat and commander damage amplified by Duelist's Heritage and Chocobo Knights. A robust, low-cost defensive package featuring Clever Concealment, Dawn's Truce, and Selfless Spirit protects key threats against sweepers and targeted removal.
