Deck overview

This deck executes a focused mono-green stompy game plan built around Ghalta, Primal Hunger. It accelerates early with 1-mana dorks into aggressively statted creatures such as Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Gigantosaurus. This rapidly satisfies Ghalta's cost-reduction condition, enabling a 12/12 trampler to enter the battlefield as early as Turn 4 for just two green mana. The deck converts its immense board power into substantial card advantage through power-matters engines like Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise. It closes out games across Turns 5 through 7 by delivering overwhelming combat damage backed by overrun effects like Overwhelming Stampede and power doublers like Unnatural Growth. While vulnerable to mass creature removal and lacking stack interaction, its dense redundancy and independent beaters allow it to rebuild quickly and maintain heavy pressure.
