Deck overview

This deck is a Jund -1/-1 counters and attrition midrange strategy led by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. It leverages the blight mechanic and -1/-1 counter distribution to generate substantial card advantage while systematically eroding opposing life totals and creature boards. The early turns focus on establishing mana fixing and ramp to deploy the commander on Turn 4 alongside repeatable counter producers. Midgame play pivots into aggressive board control with asymmetric wipes and lockdown pieces like Kulrath Knight, Carnifex Demon, and Massacre Girl, Known Killer. Life loss triggers from Obelisk Spider, Lasting Tarfire, and Auntie Ool convert board manipulation directly into table-wide pressure. The deck also includes a compact infinite combo with Devoted Druid and Quillspike to draw the library and create a lethal attacker. Strong recursion and redundant payoff engines allow the deck to maintain momentum through removal and outvalue opposing boards.
