SARUMAN THE SMELLY by user7523578

Format: Commander

Commander: Saruman, the White Hand

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis amass/spells-matter deck helmed by Saruman, the White Hand. The core plan is to cast noncreature spells to repeatedly amass an ever-growing Orc Army, then convert that Army into a table kill through Chandra's Ignition, Assault on Osgiliath, or one of the Fling-style effects. The deck leans heavily on trigger multipliers like Harmonic Prodigy, Veyran, Voice of Duality, and Wizard's Staff to double or triple Saruman's amass trigger, while All Will Be One turns every counter event into direct damage. It is a midrange value deck rather than a combo deck: there are no compact infinite lines, but it can produce enormous burst turns off Jeska's Will, Seething Song, Kess, Dissident Mage, and Mizzix's Mastery to close out the game.
