Licia Midrange Drain v8 by TaraSimplyExists

Format: Commander

Commander: Licia, Sanguine Tribune

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Licia, Sanguine Tribune is a Mardu life-gain/drain deck. The primary plan is to gain life with cheap vampires and drain effects, then convert that life into a two-card drain loop: Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror paired with Sanguine Bond, Vito, Enduring Tenacity, Marauding Blight-Priest, or Starscape Cleric. A compact secondary kill is Chain of Smog plus Professor Onyx. Licia herself is a resilient lifelink beater and mana-discount payoff rather than the engine; there is no hidden commander. The deck also has Aetherflux Reservoir/Bolas's Citadel, Angel of Destiny, and large X-spell finishes. Because the main combo lines are commander-independent, the deck can function without ever casting Licia.
