Kefka creature build by HalfWatch

Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kefka, Court Mage is a Grixis discard-and-draw engine: it strips hands and refills yours based on discarded card types. The 99 converts discard into resources with Waste Not, Oppression, and The Rack, then transforms Kefka into Kefka, Ruler of Ruin so every opponent life loss during your turn becomes cards. The deck can win by overdrawing into Laboratory Maniac, milling opponents with Psychic Corrosion and The Water Crystal, or completing the Dualcaster Mage + Quantum Misalignment loop with The Fire Crystal for a hasty Wizard army. A slower Dawnsire, Sunstar Dreadnought + Stuffy Doll kill sits as a backup. Kuja, Genome Sorcerer acts as a hidden commander, creating Wizard tokens that turn on Trance Kuja's damage doubling.
