Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green Bear tribal and +1/+1 counter stompy strategy helmed by Beorn the Fierce. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early ramp and low-cost Bears or Shapeshifters, then casting Beorn to distribute trample counters and convert non-Bear creatures into Bears. With three Bears in play, Beorn draws two extra cards every combat phase, keeping the hand full. The deck scales its board using counter engines like Innkeeper's Talent, Hardened Scales, and Germination Practicum. By turn 6, the deck builds a formidable board of large trampling creatures. It closes out the game around turn 8 using overrun effects such as Overwhelming Stampede and Blossoming Bogbeast. While the deck possesses explosive combat power and strong card flow, it relies entirely on creature combat and lacks stack interaction or stax pieces, leaving it vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and faster combo decks.
