Bear Tribal by SusbyTV

Format: Commander

Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Beorn the Fierce is the engine and anthem of a mono-green Bear deck. The primary plan is to resolve Beorn, fill the board with cheap Bears and Bear tokens, then use his beginning-of-combat draw trigger to keep drawing into more threats. The secondary plan is a graveyard/landfall value game around Lumra, Bearscape, Mother Bear, and the Titania/Argoth meld. Ayula, Queen Among Bears acts as a hidden commander in the 99, providing counters and fight removal. The usual finish is a single explosive trample combat from Craterhoof Behemoth, Triumph of the Hordes, or an oversized Finale of Devastation. Beorn is not a double-faced commander; his creature face is the only face the deck uses.
