Deck overview

Queen Marchesa is a defensive aikido commander who uses the monarch role and deathtouch-haste body to discourage early attacks while generating card advantage. The primary plan is to stay low, accumulate value with tax and draw creatures, then punish overextension with goad effects and damage redirection. The cleanest kill is Gisela, Blade of Goldnight plus Wound Reflection turning a single Price of Progress or Acidic Soil into lethal damage to all opponents. A secondary path uses Insurrection to steal a developed board, and Sunforger can find the needed instant at instant speed. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Marchesa's card advantage rather than either side of a double-faced card.
