Deck overview

This Selesnya midrange deck leverages the power of Ghalta and Mavren to convert aggressive attacks into overwhelming board states. In the early game, the deck focuses on establishing a mana base using efficient ramp spells like Cultivate, Arcane Signet, and mana creatures. During the midgame, it deploys resilient 4- and 5-mana threats such as Shifting Ceratops and Tolsimir, Midnight's Light. Once Ghalta and Mavren enters the battlefield, every combat trigger produces either massive trample Dinosaur tokens scaling with your largest attacker or swarms of lifelink Vampire tokens. Secondary lifegain and counter synergies through Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn and Ajani's Pridemate bolster the board. While the deck boasts high raw power and trample combat damage, it relies heavily on natural draws and possesses limited instant-speed interaction and protection.
