Deck overview

This deck is a competitive mono-black turbo combo deck led by K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth. It uses life as its primary resource to bypass mana costs and accelerate into early wins. The deck leverages efficient rituals, fast mana artifacts, and black tutors to assemble game-ending combos as early as Turn 2. Its primary routes involve reanimating Necrotic Ooze with Asmodeus the Archfiend and Skirge Familiar in the graveyard, resolving Peer into the Abyss, or looping Gray Merchant of Asphodel with Chainer, Dementia Master. When facing heavy interaction, it can deploy asymmetric locks like Contamination, Opposition Agent, or Defense Grid before executing a deterministic finish.
