Deck overview

This mono-black artifact creature deck, helmed by Imotekh the Stormlord, is a graveyard-value engine that generates an army of 2/2 Necron Warrior tokens whenever artifact cards leave the graveyard. The primary game plan involves self-mill, unearth, and recursion spells to repeatedly trigger Imotekh's token generation while building a wide board of artifact creatures and Vehicles. The deck wins through combat damage, leveraging menace and +2/+2 buffs from Imotekh, along with life-drain effects like Psychomancer and the life-swing from Shard of the Nightbringer. Secondary win conditions include Necron Overlord's life-loss ability and the one-sided board wipe Their Name Is Death to clear nonartifact blockers. The deck is a slow, grindy value engine that aims to outlast opponents through recursion and token swarms.
