Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is an Elf-ball combo-control deck. The commander turns the graveyard into a second hand: once key Elves are milled or discarded, he can tap for huge mana, untap himself, and act as a toolbox of Elf activated abilities. The primary plan is to turbo out mana dorks and fast artifacts, then assemble either Bloom Tender + Freed from the Real or a mana-dork + Umbral Mantle loop, and finish with Staff of Domination, Torment of Hailfire, or Finale of Devastation. A secondary beatdown path runs through Ezuri, Renegade Leader and Allosaurus Shepherd. The hidden commander is the graveyard itself, with Entomb and Buried Alive as its best tutors.
