Deck overview

This Izzet deck is led by Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man, focusing on an artifact-centric game plan that transitions from early resource development into cheating enormous artifacts onto the battlefield. In the early game, the front side of Tony Stark filters through the top cards of the library to ensure a steady supply of artifacts in hand while mana rocks build up mana velocity. Upon reaching six mana, Tony transforms into The Invincible Iron Man, gaining flying and haste while triggering a powerful combat ability that deploys high-cost threats like Krang, Utrom Warlord, Meteor Sword, or Cosmic Cube directly into play without paying their mana costs. The deck leverages heavy combat damage, equipment buffs, and flying evasive pressure to defeat opponents across consecutive turn cycles, supported by utility artifacts and planeswalkers like Karn, the Great Creator to suppress opposing strategies.
