Deck overview

Tidus, Yuna's Guardian commands a Bant midrange deck centered on +1/+1 counters, Final Fantasy Saga summons, and combat-driven resource generation. The deck ramps efficiently in the opening turns to deploy Tidus and early counter-bearing creatures. Once established, Tidus's Cheer ability turns every successful combat connection into card draw and proliferation, rapidly inflating your board. As your creatures grow, force multipliers like Chocobo Knights, Sphere Grid, and Rikku, Resourceful Guardian convert raw power into lethal combat pressure via double strike, trample, and unblockability. Meanwhile, an asymmetric board wipe package headlined by Damning Verdict clears opposing boards while leaving your modified army intact. The deck features strong interactive coverage through premier Bant removal and counterspells, backed by defensive tools like Inspiring Call and Protection Magic. Although vulnerable to exile sweepers and reliant on natural draws rather than tutors, the deck presents a compounding, resilient combat clock that closes games over sequential attack steps.
