Deck overview

This is a Simic landfall-Elf deck helmed by Thranduil the Strategist. The commander turns every land drop into a 1/1 Elf and gives your other Elves "{T}: Add {G} or {U}," so a developing board immediately becomes a mana engine. The 99 is built to abuse extra land drops, fetch-and-bounce landfall, and Elf lords, then close with either an infinite landfall loop or a trampling overrun. Primary wins are Retreat to Coralhelm plus a land-placing Elf and a bounce land (infinite landfall into tokens, mana, and draw) and combat via Craterhoof Behemoth or a large Finale of Devastation. Scute Swarm, Springheart Nantuko, and Doubling Season are the exponential backups. Thranduil, Sindarin Liege in the 99 reprints the token plan with a lord attached. The commander is a powerful catalyst, not a combo piece; the list is a complete landfall pile if he never resolves.
