Format: Commander

Commander: Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Skithiryx is a mono-black infect/voltron deck that aims to kill the table with poison counters before opponents can stabilize. The commander is the primary equipment host: haste, regeneration, and flying turn it into a reliable 4/4 infect body that can grow to one-shot size with Lashwrithe, Nightmare Lash, or Strata Scythe. In parallel, the deck runs a full proliferate package, an Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond drain loop, and a Bolas's Citadel + Aetherflux Reservoir + Sensei's Divining Top engine. Equipment protection (Lightning Greaves, Swiftfoot Boots, Commander's Plate, Mithril Coat) keeps the threat alive, while K'rrik and Crypt Ghast accelerate expensive black spells. No hidden commander exists; the deck is built around Skithiryx but can pivot to mass poison or drain.
