Commander: Elminster

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Elminster commands an Azorius control strategy that leverages scrying to dramatically reduce the costs of massive instant and sorcery spells. The primary plan establishes a defensive pillowfort using cards like Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, and board wipes while accumulating loyalty on Elminster. Once stabilized, the deck uses Elminster's passive cost reduction to cast game-ending spells ahead of curve, primarily winning through Approach of the Second Sun or exiling high-cost cards to generate lethal swarms of Faerie Dragon tokens. Alternatively, the deck can draw into an empty library with Enter the Infinite to achieve an instant victory through Jace, Wielder of Mysteries.
