Deck overview

This Simic deck leverages Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief to duplicate mutate creature spells and single-target buffs across multiple bodies simultaneously. Casting a mutate spell targeting a non-Human host creature triggers Ivy, creating a copy of the mutate spell that targets Ivy and yielding double mutate triggers whenever a creature is added to either stack. Low-cost ramp and resilient mutate bases like Slippery Bogle and Pollywog Symbiote establish early velocity, while engine pieces like Parcelbeast and Dreamtail Heron provide steady card advantage. In the mid-to-late game, the deck accelerates into game-ending value with Auspicious Starrix, Archipelagore, and massive copy spells such as Rite of Replication and Vesuvan Duplimancy. Single-mana protection spells like Royal Treatment and Tyvar's Stand pull double duty by protecting both Ivy and her host from targeted removal for a single mana investment.
