Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Naya token engine commanded by Baylen, the Haymaker. The strategy revolves around generating wide boards of diverse creature and artifact tokens—including Soldiers, Halflings, Gnomes, Food, and Treasures—and immediately leveraging them through Baylen's flexible tap abilities. By converting untapped tokens into colored mana, repeatable card draw, and self-buffing commander damage, Baylen ensures rapid hand replenishment and explosive mana velocity. The deck accelerates through its early turns using low-cost ramp and versatile token creators like Peregrin Took and Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon. Once a critical mass of tokens is established, the deck pivots into game-ending pressure through mass-pump overrun finishers like Jetmir, Nexus of Revels and Craterhoof Behemoth, passive entry burn via Purphoros, God of the Forge, or alternative infinite token loops. Instant-speed protection such as Boros Charm and Grand Crescendo shields the wide board from sweepers, allowing the deck to close games swiftly.
