Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is commanded by Scriv, the Obligator and focuses on Aura-based combat control, pillowfort defense, and sustained drain attrition. By attaching Contract tokens and goad Auras to opposing threats, the deck diverts incoming combat damage and turns opponents' creatures against each other. Behind protective barriers such as Ghostly Prison, Sphere of Safety, and Eriette of the Charmed Apple, the pilot generates steady card flow through enchantresses like Sram, Senior Edificer and Mesa Enchantress. Victory is achieved through the scaling end-step drain of Eriette, recursive Aura value, and evasive token swarms generated by Archon of Sun's Grace and Sigil of the Empty Throne. While the deck excels at dictating combat flow, it relies on incremental board advantage rather than instant combo finishes.
