Format: Commander

Commander: Dina, Essence Brewer

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Dina, Essence Brewer leads a Golgari aristocrats deck that turns creature deaths into cards, life, and opponent life loss. The primary plan is to build a critical mass of tokens, then sacrifice them with Plumb the Forbidden or Viscera Seer while Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Dina, Soul Steeper convert each death into damage. Secondary paths are a go-wide combat finish with Tendershoot Dryad and Blossoming Bogbeast, and a large Exsanguinate from Stensian Sanguinist // Exsanguinate. Dina's role is repeatable card draw and a tap-based sacrifice outlet that also pumps a creature. Dina, Soul Steeper in the 99 acts as a hidden commander, doubling every lifegain event into opponent life loss.
