Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Boros midrange strategy led by Quintorius, History Chaser. The game plan revolves around leveraging cards leaving the graveyard to create an army of 3/2 Spirit creature tokens. Early turns focus on establishing mana acceleration and stocking the graveyard through rummage effects like Faithless Looting and self-mill tools. Once Quintorius enters on Turn 4, its loyalty abilities filter cards and trigger Spirit generation. Mid-game reanimation engines such as Sun Titan, Serra Paragon, and Excava, the Risen Past repeatedly trigger token creation while recurring key utility pieces. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through wide combat swings empowered by Quintorius's -4 double strike ability, Moonshaker Cavalry, or Balefire Liege. It includes robust board wipes like Tragic Arrogance to break parity, though it remains vulnerable to mass graveyard exile and fast stack-based combo decks.
