Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Grixis reanimator list commanded by Marchesa, Dealer of Death. It leverages an efficient suite of graveyard enablers such as Entomb, Buried Alive, and Faithless Looting to deposit massive, game-warping creatures into the graveyard early. From there, cheap reanimation spells like Reanimate, Animate Dead, and Victimize cheat these threats into play on Turn 4. Every targeted removal spell and reanimation trigger commits a crime, allowing Marchesa to filter cards directly into hand and the graveyard. The deck pivots into a decisive mid-game finish through asymmetric drain from Gray Merchant of Asphodel, mass recursion via Breach the Multiverse, and persistent combat pressure from flying beaters like Archon of Cruelty, Vilis, Broker of Blood, and Valgavoth, Terror Eater.
