Deck overview

Fynn, the Fangbearer leads a mono-green poison aggro strategy that turns low-cost deathtouch creatures into lethal threats. By deploying 1-drop deathtouchers on Turn 1 and casting Fynn on Turn 2, the deck immediately begins applying two poison counters per unblocked attack, compressing the traditional 40-life Commander clock down to 10 poison counters per opponent. The deck features extreme density in low-mana deathtouchers alongside secondary infect and toxic attackers such as Bloated Contaminator and Phyrexian Swarmlord. Proliferate engines like Evolution Sage and Contagion Clasp provide non-combat inevitability once opponents are initially poisoned, while evasion lands like Access Tunnel and Rogue's Passage push damage through heavy ground defenses. While highly explosive in the early turns, the deck is constrained by a low land count of 29 lands, minimal card draw, and high reliance on Fynn surviving on board, making it vulnerable to board wipes and targeted removal.
