New Untitled Deck by The-God-Frogger

Format: Commander

Commander: Atraxa, Praetors' Voice

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is an Atraxa, Praetors' Voice deck built around +1/+1 counters, poison (toxic/infect), and life-gain synergies. The commander's end-step proliferate accelerates both the counter and poison plans simultaneously, while a suite of outlast creatures (Abzan Battle Priest, Abzan Falconer, Ainok Bond-Kin, Mer-Ek Nightblade, Pridemalkin) grants flying, first strike, deathtouch, trample, and lifelink to every creature wearing counters. Life-gain payoffs like Heliod, Sun-Crowned, Cradle of Vitality, and Cleric Class convert each point of life into additional counters, and Hardened Scales doubles the whole engine. The deck wins through combat with large, keyworded creatures and/or poison counters from Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa and Contagious Nim. It is a midrange value deck that wins through incremental board advantage rather than combo.
