Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Aristocrats strategy helmed by Sauron, the Lidless Eye, designed to turn opponents' creatures into fuel for sacrifice outlets and burn triggers. The early game focuses on deploying recurring sacrifice fodder like Bloodghast and Gravecrawler alongside free sacrifice outlets like Goblin Bombardment and Viscera Seer. In the mid game, single-target theft effects like Claim the Firstborn and Furnace Reins temporarily steal key opposing blockers and commanders before sacrificing them permanently for profit. The commander serves as a repeatable Threaten effect and a late-game team pump and direct life drain mana sink. High-impact spells such as Mob Rule and Insurrection provide decisive burst finishes by stealing the entire board for an alpha strike, followed by sacrificing all stolen creatures to drain remaining life totals via Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Mayhem Devil.
