Deck overview

This is a Grixis "Ring tempts" value deck built around Sauron, the Dark Lord. The commander turns every opponent spell into an amass trigger and converts each Ring tempt into a discard-hand-draw-four burst of card advantage. The core loop is triggering the Ring as often as possible - via 8x Nazgul, Call of the Ring, Bilbo, Retired Burglar, Elrond, Lord of Rivendell, and the various legendary permanents - to grow Wraiths and fuel Sauron's draw. The primary win is combat: a wide, tall board of Nazgul and Lord of the Nazgul Wraith tokens, backed by Sauron, the Necromancer's attacking copies and the amassed Army, closing with Cavern-Hoard Dragon or Gandalf the Grey's burn. Secondary lines include Improvisation Capstone free-casting and There and Back Again's Smaug treasure burst. It is a midrange grinder that wins through overwhelming board presence rather than combo.
