Deck overview

This Selesnya deck combines life accumulation with explosive +1/+1 counter distribution to overwhelm opponents through combat. Commanded by Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn, the deck converts life gained from early soul sisters and lifelink attackers into permanent power across the entire board each end step. It accelerates early with efficient 1-to-2-mana dorks and land ramp, setting up Lathiel by Turn 4. From there, drawing engines like The Gaffer and Dusk Legion Duelist sustain card advantage while keywords like flying from Abzan Falconer and trample from Duskshell Crawler ensure large creatures connect. Heavy protection suites, including Selfless Spirit, Inspiring Call, and Unbreakable Formation, shield the wide board from sweepers, while alternate win conditions like Blossoming Bogbeast, Nykthos Paragon, and Storm Herd provide lethal combat finishes if the commander is removed.
