Deck overview

This deck is a Naya forced-combat control strategy commanded by Marisi, Breaker of the Coil. Its primary game plan is to deploy evasive attackers, cast Marisi on Turn 4, and connect on Turn 5 to goad opposing boards while silencing opponents during your combat phase. By compelling opponents to attack each other each combat, Marisi strips away opposing blockers, prevents attacks coming your way, and accelerates opponent life loss. Pillowfort defenses like Ghostly Prison, Windborn Muse, and Blind Obedience ensure you remain untouched even if goad conditions fluctuate. Group combat scalers like Crescendo of War, Gahiji, Honored One, and Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos rapidly amplify opposing damage output to whittle the table down. Once reduced to a final surviving opponent, the deck transitions into a decisive combat finish using overrun effects such as Beastmaster Ascension, Taunt from the Rampart, or Gisela, Blade of Goldnight around Turn 8.
