Doom Prevails(Marvel Super Heroes Commander Precon Decklist) by user2589931

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Grixis Villain tribal deck is helmed by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, who turns every discard of a land into a drain trigger and hands out menace and connive to one Villain each combat. The primary game plan is to generate incremental value through the connive mechanic - drawing then discarding - while leveraging discard synergies (Containment Construct, Currency Converter, Moonstone, Harsh Mistress) to replay key pieces from the graveyard or exile. Win conditions revolve around overwhelming combat advantage: anthem effects like The Squadron Sinister grant flying and haste to the Villain army, Titania, Proud Pummeler gives melee, and the commander's land-discard drain chips away at opponents over time. Secondary payoffs include Living Laser token copies, Kang, Temporal Tyrant life drain, and Stilt-Man, Towering Terror theft. The deck is a midrange value engine that aims to outlast opponents through recursion and card selection rather than fast combos.
