Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Bant Voltron build led by Galea, Kindler of Hope. The game plan focuses on deploying efficient 1-2 CMC ramp to cast Galea on Turn 3, followed by leveraging her static ability to cast Auras and Equipment directly from the top of the library. Equipment cast this way attaches for free, bypassing steep equip costs on game-ending pieces like Colossus Hammer, Belt of Giant Strength, and Argentum Armor. The deck establishes critical onset on Turn 5, threatening lethal commander damage with double strike enablers such as Rafiq of the Many, Holy Avenger, and Genji Glove. A robust suite of protection spells—including phasing from Robe of Stars and Galadriel's Dismissal, alongside Umbra armor—shields Galea from sweepers and targeted removal. While weak to edicts and heavy countermagic, the deck recovers quickly using mass recursion like Mantle of the Ancients.
