Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck harnesses the immense size and cost reduction of Ghalta, Primal Hunger to overrun opponents with colossal trampling threats. The primary strategy focuses on deploying efficient mana accelerators on Turn 1 and Turn 2, followed by heavily statted creatures such as Pugnacious Hammerskull, Gigantosaurus, and Rhonas the Indomitable. These high-power creatures rapidly satisfy Ghalta's cost-reduction ability, enabling the commander to enter the battlefield as early as Turn 4 for just two green mana. Once assembled, the deck converts its sheer board power into sustained card flow through engines like Garruk's Uprising, The Great Henge, and Rishkar's Expertise. The game concludes across Turns 5 and 6 as Ghalta and supporting beaters attack with trample, amplified by lethal team pump spells such as Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth. While susceptible to creature sweepers and lacking stack-based interaction, the deck's extreme functional redundancy and rapid recovery ensure relentless combat pressure.
