Death By Trigger Revamped by user4096965

Format: Commander

Commander: Teysa Karlov

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Teysa Karlov is a death-trigger amplifier: she doubles every 'when a creature dies' trigger, so Blood Artist effects, Grave Pact, Pawn of Ulamog, and token makers all output twice. The primary plan is a compact aristocrats loop using Darkest Hour with Teysa, Orzhov Scion and a free sacrifice outlet to generate infinite death triggers, finished by Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat. A secondary grind plan uses Reassembling Skeleton, an altar, and Pitiless Plunderer or Pawn of Ulamog to loop without the commander. Teysa Karlov herself is a force multiplier; Teysa, Orzhov Scion acts as the hidden commander in the 99. Tutors assemble whichever loop is available.
