Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Top-Deck Midrange and Reanimator strategy commanded by Glarb, Calamity's Augur. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early mana acceleration to cast Glarb on Turn 2 or 3, establishing continuous card advantage by playing lands and high-impact spells with mana value 4 or greater directly from the top of the library. Glarb's surveil ability sculpts draws and stocks the graveyard for powerful reanimation targets like Sepulchral Primordial and mass reanimation via Rise of the Dark Realms. The deck transitions into a game-dominating state on Turn 5 by resolving powerhouse engines such as Bolas's Citadel, Liliana, Dreadhorde General, or Displacer Kitten. Interaction is dense and efficient, featuring free and low-cost answers like Force of Vigor, Snuff Out, Swan Song, and Toxic Deluge. Lethal pressure is closed out across two combat cycles through overwhelming board presence and stolen opposing threats.
