Deck overview

This deck is a focused Boros Dwarf tribal and historic synergy deck commanded by Thorin Oakenshield. It aims to flood the battlefield with efficient Dwarf creatures, legendary heroes, and iconic Equipment to rapidly trigger the storied mechanic, conferring an enduring story that shields your board with passive ward {1}. Mana development is supported by early rocks, cost reducers, and Treasure generators like Glóin the Mighty and The Misty Mountains Cold. Once a resilient board is assembled by Turn 4, the deck pivots into an aggressive posture, leveraging lethal team-wide buffs like Coat of Arms, Moonshaker Cavalry, and Thorin, King of Durin's Folk, or multi-combat spells like Full Throttle to dismantle opposing life totals by Turn 8. High-quality removal spells handle critical opposing threats, while phase-out spells protect the fellowship against catastrophic sweepers.
