Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Gruul engine built around Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald, turning impulse-draw and exile mechanics into a relentless swarm of 2/2 Wolf tokens. By running an extensive suite of exile-based card advantage such as Escape to the Wilds, Bonehoard Dracosaur, and Charred Foyer, the deck generates compounding card flow while simultaneously expanding its board. Mana velocity is accelerated through low-curve ramp, Enduring Vitality, and Jeska's Will, allowing explosive mid-game turns where multiple spells are cast directly from exile. The primary win condition leverages this wide token board into decisive combat overruns using Craterhoof Behemoth, Overwhelming Stampede, or Beastmaster Ascension, backed by direct damage from Purphoros, God of the Forge and Passionate Archaeologist. Additionally, the deck features a compact, infinite creature mana and token loop with Food Chain and Squee, the Immortal.
