Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Temur combo-swarm deck commanded by Xyris, the Writhing Storm. The core game plan accelerates mana rapidly during the opening turns using efficient rocks and dorks, deploying Xyris on Turn 3. On Turn 4, the deck casts symmetrical draw spells or wheels like Windfall, Reforge the Soul, and Time Reversal. Because Xyris triggers whenever opponents draw cards outside their normal draw step, a single wheel creates 21 1/1 Snake creature tokens while drawing a fresh hand. The deck then converts this massive board into a lethal win on Turn 5 using overrun finishers such as Craterhoof Behemoth and Triumph of the Hordes, direct ETB burn from Impact Tremors and Slash, Reptile Rampager, or an infinite combat loop with Aggravated Assault and Nature's Will.
