Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black aristocrats and combo engine commanded by Ayara, First of Locthwain. The strategy focuses on establishing early sacrifice engines, draining opponents incrementally, and transitioning into deterministic infinite life-drain loops. Ayara provides both an entry drain trigger and a reliable card-draw engine in the command zone. The deck leverages efficient creature recursion such as Gravecrawler alongside sacrifice outlets like Warren Soultrader and Phyrexian Altar to generate infinite life-loss loops. Additionally, the deck runs the two-card combo of Exquisite Blood with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Sanguine Bond, or Enduring Tenacity. Universal black tutors find missing combo pieces quickly, while low-cost reanimation spells ensure resilience against board wipes and removal. The deck controls creature-heavy boards with sweepers like Toxic Deluge and The Meathook Massacre while keeping its own life total high.
