Deck overview

This deck is a high-variance Izzet spellslinger deck built around Neera, Wild Mage. The primary game plan is to accelerate mana during the first three turns, deploy Neera on Turn 5, and then cast low-mana cantrips on Turn 6 to trigger her ability. By tucking inexpensive spells like Opt or Brainstorm, the deck digs through the library to cast game-ending spells for free. These payoffs include massive Eldrazi like Ulamog's Crusher and Desolation Twin, game-warping enchantments like Omniscience, and board-flipping sorceries like Clone Legion. The deck relies on topdeck manipulation to set up favorable Neera triggers and uses bounce spells and countermagic to protect its key pieces. Because the primary route to victory is combat damage from large creatures over multiple turns, the deck operates as a classic casual powerhouse with explosive turns and high replay value.
