Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Golgari Aristocrats strategy commanded by Chatterfang, Squirrel General. The deck focuses on creating vast swarms of tokens, which Chatterfang automatically supplements with equal numbers of 1/1 green Squirrel tokens. These tokens serve as versatile fodder: they act as instant-speed removal through Chatterfang's activated ability, fuel massive card advantage engines like Skullclamp and Smothering Abomination, and generate substantial mana via Cryptolith Rite and Ashnod's Altar. The deck secures victory by draining opponents out of the game using dense aristocrat payoffs such as Bastion of Remembrance, Mirkwood Bats, and Zulaport Cutthroat. With strong functional redundancy across token producers and sacrifice outlets, the deck consistently controls opposing creature boards with Grave Pact while threatening game-ending life drain bursts. It operates with high resilience against standard destroy effects, though it remains vulnerable to exile-based board wipes and instant-speed stack interaction.
