Deck overview

This mono-black deck blends Vampire tribal synergy, aristocrat drain mechanics, and a compact instant-kill infinite combo. Led by Timothar, Baron of Bats, the deck leverages recursive combat value, resilient tribal payoffs, and heavy mid-to-late-game bombs. Its primary path to victory revolves around assembling Bloodthirsty Conqueror alongside Marauding Blight-Priest or Defiant Bloodlord. Once assembled on Turn 5 or 6, any single instance of life gain or opponent life loss instantly triggers an infinite chain reaction that drains all three opponents to zero life simultaneously. The deck supports this game plan through a robust reanimation package including Zombify, Vile Entomber, and Command the Dreadhorde, allowing it to cheat expensive threats into play and quickly recover from board wipes. Asymmetric board sweepers like Olivia's Wrath and high-end engines like Patron of the Vein and Necropolis Regent provide a formidable secondary beatdown plan. While the deck boasts immense late-game inevitability, it remains vulnerable to instant-speed exile removal and lacks stack interaction against fast noncreature combo strategies.
