Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros stax and combat strategy led by Winota, Joiner of Forces. The main game plan curves out early with low-cost non-Human creatures such as Ornithopter, Gingerbrute, and Skrelv, Defector Mite. On Turn 3 or 4, Winota, Joiner of Forces enters the battlefield. When non-Humans attack, Winota digs six cards deep per attacker to put powerful Human creatures directly onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and indestructible. High-impact hits like Blade Historian, Combat Celebrant, and Myrel, Shield of Argive quickly multiply combat damage and flood the board with tokens. Meanwhile, proactive disruption pieces such as Deafening Silence, High Noon, Thalia, Heretic Cathar, and Grand Abolisher lock opponents out of fast spell combos and interaction during your turns. The deck also packs a compact two-card backup win condition with Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista, creating an explosive, resilient threat profile capable of eliminating the table by Turn 5.
