Commander: Zimone, Infinite Analyst

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck is a Simic X-spell tribal strategy helmed by Zimone, Infinite Analyst, designed to leverage spells with {X} in their mana cost. Zimone reduces the cost of the first X spell each turn and puts +1/+1 counters on herself, growing into a formidable cost-reduction engine. The deck is packed with Hydras and X-cost creatures like Primordial Hydra, Kalonian Hydra, and Hydroid Krasis, supported by counter synergies from Hardened Scales, Kami of Whispered Hopes, and Unbound Flourishing. The primary win condition is overwhelming combat damage with trampling, evasive hydras, with a backup alternate win via Simic Ascendancy. The deck lacks cheap tutors or fast combos, instead building inevitability through incremental value and large creature turns.
