Deck overview

This deck is a high-impact Mardu cost-cheating aggro deck commanded by Kaalia of the Vast. The core game plan focuses on rapidly deploying Kaalia on turn 3 or 4, equipping haste enablers such as Lightning Greaves or Swiftfoot Boots, and attacking immediately to drop massive Angel, Demon, and Dragon payoffs directly into combat tapped and attacking. The deck leverages game-ending combat threats like Master of Cruelties to eliminate players in one hit, Avacyn, Angel of Hope to provide permanent invulnerability, and asymmetric attrition pieces like Archfiend of Depravity and Armageddon to deny opponents recovery. High-density protection including Grand Abolisher, Voice of Victory, and Silence insulates combat steps against opposing interaction, while combo backup via Dualcaster Mage and Saw in Half offers an instant-speed alternate win condition. While vulnerable to early spot removal targeting Kaalia before she attacks, the deck exerts explosive mid-game pressure.
