Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros Spellslinger strategy centered on Feather, the Redeemed. The primary game plan revolves around casting low-cost instants and sorceries that target your own creatures, which Feather exiles upon resolution and returns to your hand at the beginning of each end step. By cycling one-mana cantrips such as Defiant Strike, Ancestral Anger, and Expedite, the deck generates recurring card advantage while holding up cheap defensive spells like Gods Willing and Loran's Escape to keep Feather virtually immune to removal. Mana engines like Storm-Kiln Artist and Birgi, God of Storytelling convert this spell velocity into continuous mana generation, while token producers such as Monastery Mentor and Young Pyromancer build an escalating board state. The deck finishes games either through explosive combat damage amplified by Zada, Hedron Grinder, Leonin Lightscribe, and Temur Battle Rage, or via the compact infinite combo of Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame.
